It began with a go to from Dawn ( click ), we had an awesome day together. I was lucky sufficient to see the attractive antique quilts (and numerous other antiques) she had brought together with her to The Netherlands from up close after which we spend a few hours in Delft, read all about it on her blog ( click ).
We wonder how women managed to do all they did on the farms and of their properties, still discovering time to make quilts for the consolation of their families. It’s fairly a beautiful heritage and hopefully quilt making will proceed to be passed down to future generations.
